MHT CET 3-Year LLB Admission 2026 – Complete Guide (With Conversion Certificate Details)

The MHT CET Law 3-Year LLB admission process is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra through a centralized system known as CAP (Centralized Admission Process). This process allows candidates to secure admission in government, aided, and private law colleges across Maharashtra.

For the academic year 2026–27, the CAP registration process started on 11 June 2026 and ended on 30 June 2026.

๐ŸŽฏ What is MHT CET 3-Year LLB?

MHT CET Law (3-Year LLB) is an entrance exam for graduates who wish to pursue a law degree. Admission is strictly based on:

๐Ÿ“„ Important Documents Required

During CAP registration, candidates must upload:

  • CET Scorecard

  • Graduation Marksheet

  • Passing Certificate

  • Domicile Certificate (if applicable)

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • ID Proof

  • Passport Size Photo

๐Ÿ‘‰ One of the most important documents is the Conversion Certificate.

๐Ÿ”ฅ What is a Conversion Certificate?

A Conversion Certificate is required when your marks are not in percentage format.

Many universities (especially CBSE, ICSE, CGPA systems, or some universities) provide marks in:

  • CGPA / GPA

  • Grades

  • Percentile format

Since CAP requires percentage-based merit calculation, you must convert your marks into percentage using an official certificate.

๐Ÿ“Œ Types of Conversion Certificates Required

Based on CET Cell notifications, candidates may need:

  • Graduation Conversion Certificate

  • SSC/HSC Conversion Certificate (if multiple attempts or grading system)

  • CBSE / ICSE / IGCSE Marks Conversion Certificate

⚠️ Why Conversion Certificate is Important?

  • Without it, your application may be rejected during verification

  • Your merit score may not be calculated properly

  • It ensures fair comparison among all candidates

๐Ÿ‘‰ If your marksheet already shows percentage, then this certificate is not required
